Cycle to Break the Cycle

Each year, a DJ and his station does something called Live for 175. They do some event each year in April to take a stand against child abuse and to bring awarness to this problem. This year the station wanted to do something to get more of the community involved, as people are always asking how they can help.

So, they decided, for 175 hours, to have the station powered by bikes ridden by the community. This is powering the message the station is putting out about child abuse, and it powers the phones. So many people call in each year, because this DJ's message has struck home to them, and they're finally ready to talk about the abuse they went through, and some of the people who call in are those still in abusive situations. Live for 175 has helped so many people, and since I can't physically be there to help, I thought I would help to spread the word.
