Beware of User Hatsoonmiku
Beware of https://www.deviantart.com/hatsoonmiku He's spamming people with requests for fetish art (and even if it wasn't fetish, it's not okay). When I called him out on his rudeness and not even bothering to do research on my gallery, he cussed me out and blocked me. Doing a quick search on this site, it seems he's spamming a lot of people with said requests. The sad thing is, there are a bunch of people giving him exactly what he wants, which only makes the problem worse. EDIT: Our convo is below. I replied to him only because I was curious why he thought I would do free art for him. Which, I am not saying I am 100% faultless, but I also 100% stand by what I said to him. If you want free requests, do some research on who you're requesting from. Then I wouldn't have been so annoyed by said request but would have more politely turned him down. EDIT 2: If you comment on this journal, please don't swear. :)
High Guardian Spice Review
High Guardian Spice. I didn’t know much about this show going into it other than it was a Crunchyroll original, it was highly controversial, and the art style/character designs looked right up my alley. I’ve been meaning to watch it since it first aired, and I was in the mood for something new (and short), so I decided now was the time. I watched the first episode, and… The animation is very low budget, the voice acting was bad, it’s only in English, and it felt more like a western cartoon with anime influence. More on all that in a moment. Some shows can have clumsy pilots though, and so I watched the next episode right after. It still wasn’t great, but once I watched the third episode (with the intent of dropping the show), I found it seemed to be getting better with each subsequent episode. My Little Pony: A New Generation Thoughts
Time to write down my thoughts about My Little Pony: A New Generation. Warning, this is LONG and I ramble a bit. SPOILERS EVERYWHERE!!! So, when I first heard G5 was going to take place in the same world as G4, I was super excited. Sad that basically all of the characters from G4 were going to be dead, but excited to see how the world had changed and to see references to G4. When I heard the initial plot for G4, it raised a lot of questions, but I was still excited for it, even with it mostly being a re-hash of G4’s overall direction (slowly befriending every creature). Then we got a look at character designs and small bits of animation. I hadn’t been sure about the CGI change, but it didn’t look bad in the short clips, and I mostly loved it in the movie itself. Every now and then a facial expression looks weird, but not enough it bothered me. The one thing that does bother me is the magnetic hooves. G4 had this problem some too, of wondering how a pony is holding something, but it
Eclipse Sucks
I know I've only been on Eclipse for a few minutes, but UGH.... I can't even re-sort all those notifications I had in folders that I mentioned in my last journal. dA has decided to sort them by their type, rather than letting me put them where I want. I guess I'm going to need to start a Word document to list where all of those I watched have moved to or become more active on, so that I can keep the list all together, rather than losing it in the shuffle of others things. Also, I'm pretty sure the art has become smaller, when you first click on a piece. Which seems weird, when art is supposed to be the focus of this site. I just know I already have a headache from Eclipse and, while I'm trying to give it a chance because it's been forced upon us, this is NOT a good first impression. Also, I noticed that the journal now tells you how long it will take to read, as you write it up. I have to wonder what they're using as the reading speed. Not to say it's a bad feature, but people's
